ZKTeco MiniAC Plus มาพร้อมกับเทคโนโลยี Visible Light Face ซึ่งเป็รนเทคโนโลยีใหม่ล่าสุดของ ZKTeco ที่ช่วยให้การสแกนใบหน้าได้อย่างรวดเร็ว แม้ในขณะย้อนแสง หรือในที่ๆ มีแสงน้อยหรือตอนเวลากลางคืน ก็จะมี LED ช่วยในการสแกนใบหน้า ระยะในการสแกนใบหน้าได้ตั้งแต่ 1-2.5 เมตร และจะมีเทคโนลโลยีที่ช่วยในการจรกรรม เช่น ป้องการการสแกนจากภาพถ่ายหรือวิดีโอ ทั้งรูปถ่ายจริงหรือในโทรศัพท์ ทั้งนี้ ZKTeco Mini AC Plus ก็ยังสามารถสแกนใบหน้าแม้ในขณะที่สวมหน้ากากได้ โดยการสวนหน้ากากนั้นจะต้องปิดบังใบหน้าไม่เกิน 70% ของใบหน้า หรือเว้นระยะดวงตาและหน้าผาก
เมนูการแสดงผลมีหน้าตาคล้ายกับใน Smart Phone ของ Andriod ทำให้ดูเมนูได้ง่ายและมีภาษาให้เลือกภาษาไทยและอังกฤษ ในตัวเครื่องสามารถใช้ได้ 2 โปรแกรม คือ ZKBioTime8.0 และ ZKBioAccess ผู้สามารถเลือกรูปแบการใช้งานได้
การเชื่อมต่อเพื่อดึงข้อมูลผู้ใช้สามารถใช้สาย Lan เพื่อดึงข้อมูลบันทึกเวลได้ ในส่วนของการควบคุมประตู ZKTeco MiniAC Plus ก็สามารถใช้งานชุดกลอนได้ทุกรุ่น
